10% of the world lives on less than $1.90 a day and the cycle of poverty is strong. Some of the biggest tools to fight poverty come from the simplest solutions—training, loans, seeds, animals, and access to a marketplace. Here in Thailand, ADRA provides vocation training such as: hair dressing, garment sewing, computer applications, cooking and baking, motorcycle repair, and hotels and hospitality for refugees along the Thai-Myanmar border. These training support income generation to the families in the camps and it also prepares the refugees for a future outside the camps.
